Yes, the entire Harp’s a Breeze team have a Working With Children Check.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance? 

Yes, we have full Public Liability Insurance.

Does Harp’s a Breeze follow the Australian Curriculum? 

Yes, our content aligns with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), Victorian Music  Curriculum (VCAA) and the Australian Music Curriculum. 

How long are the incursions for? 

1 hour in duration. This time can be modified to suit school timetables.

Can students keep their new instruments? 

Yes, the students get to keep their instruments. 

Do teachers receive instruments? 

Yes, we encourage teachers to learn with their students as it allows the school to implement the harmonica into their curriculum after the incursions.

How many students can one incursion include? 

Our incursions run best with 20 - 50 participants. Our maximum is 60 students per session.

What age group is appropriate for the incursions? 

This is an engaging program for F - 6 and is also offered at high school level with more in-depth exercises and activities.

Where does Harp’s a Breeze operate? 

Our incursions operate in all parts of Victoria, and with enough planning we can travel interstate. Our online tutorials can be accessed from anywhere in Australia.

What if a student is absent on the day of the incursion? 

We can provide instruments and learning materials to ensure nobody misses out.

Who are the Cultural Music Incursions available to? 

Our Cultural Music Incursions are available for primary and secondary school students of all ages.

Does the school have to teach the language to book a Cultural Music Incursion?

Absolutely not. We thrive on delivering these performances to any school interested in learning more about specific cultures.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of participants for the online tutorials? 

There is no limit, we offer our online tutorials to schools of all sizes.

How do I access the online tutorials? 

An online access code is provided to the schools and students upon booking.

Can I purchase the online harmonica program for my children? 

Yes, you can purchase individual harmonica programs here.

Is it safe to keep the harmonicas at school? 

Yes, it is safe for teachers to keep instruments at school, although we highly recommend schools to label students’ instruments to avoid confusion.
